Sinopsis:
Tras 39 años de una vida llena de mala suerte, Ryoma Takebayashi fallece mientras duerme. Apiadándose de él, tres seres divinos muestran compasión reencarnándole en un joven muchacho en un mundo nuevo y mágico. Ahora pasa su tiempo investigando y cuidando de los slimes del bosque. Pero tras curar a un viajero herido, Ryoma decide emprender un viaje con sus nuevos amigos para utilizar su poder para ayudar a los demás.
